Studied under lacquer artist Hosoda Yutaka, learning the techniques of cypress bendwork and lacquer painting. Opened SHIOZAWA Lacquerware Studio in 2010.

Using his own colors, natural materials, and traditional techniques, he creates bendwork (lacquerware, bento boxes, etc., made by bending wood).
