Earthenware has been used since the Jomon period for various aspects of daily life, including cooking, storage, transportation, and rituals. This time, you can experience making your own earthenware!
In the advanced course, you can create the shape of the earthenware from scratch using the coil-building technique. Use bamboo, seashells, and rope to freely add patterns and create your own motifs to make a one-of-a-kind piece! It can be used as a pen holder, vase, or even a flowerpot by drilling a hole in the bottom.
Why not create a modern version of earthenware as a summer memory?
